Deuteronomy 30

30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, [You] the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, [You] and thou [You] shalt [Shall] call them to mind among all the nations, whither [Where] the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God hath [Has] driven thee, [You]

[The law and the cursings and the blessings were read three or four times a year to the people.]

2 And shalt [Shall] return unto [To] the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God, and shalt [Shall] obey His voice according to all that I command thee [You] this day, thou [You] and thy [Your] children, with all thine [Your] heart, [Mind] and with all thy [Your] soul;

[Return to the Lord meaning some of them broke Yahveh’s law and afterwards went back to doing what is right according to Yahveh’s [God’s] law.]

[Yahveh [God] expects you to be a doer of His word. IF you do not obey Him the curses apply to you today.]

3 That then the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God will turn thy [Your] captivity, [Meaning He holds your love] and have compassion upon thee, [You] and will return and gather thee [You] from all the nations, whither [Where] the LORD thy [Your] God hath [Has] scattered thee. [You]

[In other words when you decide to return to Yahveh [God] by obeying Him he will have compassion upon you and be with you.]

4 If any of thine [Your loved ones] be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence [There] will the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God gather thee, [You] and from thence [There] will He fetch thee: [You]

[In a deeper sense the outmost part of Heaven is where the rich man from ill-gotten gains went in a spiritual body when his flesh body died. [St. Luke 16:19-26] Yahveh [God] will gather people from there to be taught discipline during the one thousand year period of time between when Jesus Christ [Yahshua] returns to earth, and when satan is turned loose for a short period of time to deceive whomsoever he will just before The Great White Throne Judgment.]

5 And the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God will bring thee [You] into the land which thy [Your] fathers possessed, and thou [You] shalt [Shall] possess it; and He will do thee [You] good, and multiply thee [You] above thy [Your] fathers.

6 And the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God will circumcise thine [Your] heart, and the heart of thy [Your] seed, [Offspring] to love the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God with all thine [Your] heart, and with all thy [Your] soul, that thou [You] mayest [May] live.

[Mayest live meaning to have eternal life.]

[Circumcise your heart is New Testament. Before Jesus Christ it was circumcision of the body. This is talking about now, this generation, and for all time because Jesus Christ became the last blood sacrifice for sin for all time. Circumcision of the heart [Mind] meaning you are circumcised by Yahveh [God] thru the son Jesus Christ whereby you are set aside for Him. You set yourself aside for Him meaning you love and obey Him.]

7 And the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God will put all these curses upon thine [Your] enemies, and on them that hate thee, [You] which persecuted thee. [You]

[IF you love and obey your Father Yahveh [God] He will love you and take are of you.]

8 And thou [You] shalt [Shall] return and obey the voice of the LORD, [Yahveh] and do all His commandments which I command thee [You] this day.

[The voice of the Lord [Yahveh] is His word in the King James Bible today. The law and the curses and the blessings were read to the people three or four times a year so people would return to obeying Yahveh. [God]

9 And the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God will make thee [You] plenteous in every work of thine [Your] hand, in the fruit of thy [Your] body, and in the fruit of thy [Your] cattle, and in the fruit of thy [Your] land, for good: for the LORD [Yahveh] will again rejoice over thee [You] for good, as He rejoiced over thy [Your] fathers:

10 If thou [You] shalt [Shall] hearken [Listen to and obey] unto the voice of the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou [You] turn unto the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God with all thine [Your] heart, and with all thy [Your] soul.

[IF you don’t obey Yahveh [God] you will be cursed. The curses will apply to you.]

11 For this commandment which I command thee [You] this day, it is not hidden from thee, [You] neither is it far off.

[Anybody that has a Bible has the commandments, and Bibles are not hard to find, and there are people who can teach you the commandments.]

12 It is not in heaven, that thou [You] shouldest [Should] say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto [To] us, that we may hear it, and do it?

[In other words you don’t have to say I wish an angel would come and tell me Yahveh’s [God’s] commandments.]

13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou [You] shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto [To] us, that we may hear it, [Hear Yahveh’s [God’s] word, hear His commandments.] and do it?

14 But the word [Yahveh’s [God’s] word] is very nigh [Close] unto thee, [You] in thy [Your] mouth, and in thy [Your] heart, that thou [You] mayest [May] do it.

[Yahveh’s [God’s word, His commandments and Law was close to them because Moses was there telling them the commandments and Law.]

[That thou [You] mayest [May] do it meaning that you may be a doer of Yahveh’s [God’s] word; a doer of His commandments.]

[During that time they only had the first five books that are written in the Bible. They had to keep the word in their minds because the priest normally kept the first five books.]

15 See, I have set before thee [You] this day [This included today.] life and good, and death and evil;

[IF you are a doer of Yahveh’s word and His commandments you will have eternal life, and good things. If you fail to be a doer of Yahveh’s [God’s] word and His commandments you will suffer the spiritual death of your soul and evilness in your flesh life.]

[Today since Yahveh [God] later sent Jesus Christ as Himself to die on the cross for your sins you can repent of the sin of breaking His law and ask Yahveh [God] for forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ and be forgiven unto eternal life. Also all people [Souls] that are not raised up in the first resurrection of Revelation 20:4-6 will be taught discipline in Yahveh’s [God’s] word. They will be taught discipline in His word for the one thousand year period of time between the return of Jesus Christ to earth and when satan will be turned loose a short period of time to deceive whomsoever He will. Then The Great White Throne Judgment will take place and they will be judged to eternal life or suffer the second death, the death of their spiritual body.]

16 In that I command thee [You] this day to love the LORD thy [Your] God, to walk in His ways, [Today Jesus Christ is the way; obey Him.] and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that thou [You] mayest [May] live and multiply: and the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God shall bless thee [You] in the land whither [Where] thou [You] goest [Go] to possess it.

17 But if thine [Your] heart turn away, [Turn away from Yahveh [God] so that thou [You] wilt [Will] not hear, but shalt [Shall] be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

[Drawn away by the traditions and doctrine of man. Drawn away by anything other then Yahveh’s God’s] word.]

[IF you are drawn away the curses will apply to you.]

18 I denounce unto you this day, [You can count on it.] that ye [You] shall surely perish, and that ye [You] shall not prolong your days [Live longer] upon the land, whither [Where] thou [You] passest [Pass] over Jordan [The Jordan River] to go to possess it.

[If you don’t do it Yahveh’s [God’s] way you are in a terrible condition.]

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou [You] and thy [Your] seed [Offspring] may live:

[Because of your obedience to Yahveh [God] and raising your children to be obedient to Yahveh [God] you and your children will be given eternal life by Yahveh. [God]

20 That thou [You] mayest [May] love the LORD [Yahveh] thy [Your] God, and that thou [You] mayest [May] obey His voice, and that thou [You] mayest [May] cleave [Cling, adhere to] unto [To] Him: [Keep and hold onto His word] for He is thy [Your] life, [Without Him you are spiritually dead] and the length of thy [Your] days: that thou [You] mayest [May] dwell in the land which the LORD [Yahveh] sware [Swore]unto [To] thy [Your] fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

[Love Yahveh [God] and put Him first in your life by obeying His commandments and law. IF you mess up repent of the sin and ask Him for forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ to be forgiven for the sin.]
