St. Matthew 11

11:1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding His twelve disciples, He departed thence [From that place] to teach and to preach in their cities. [To teach and preach in cities in Galilee, to Galileans.]

[This verse concluded the teaching at this time of His disciples. Next is the public teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. It applies to seed planters and all people. Seed planters are people who plant Yahveh’s [God’s] word in people.]

2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

[John the Baptist was the forerunner of Jesus Christ and the son of Zacharias. Zacharias was a righteous priest of Yahveh. St. Luke chapter one gives an in depth study about Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth and their son John the Baptist.]

[John the Baptist was in prison for telling king Herod he was wrong, and a sinner because he had taken his brothers wife.]

3 And [John’s two disciples] said unto him, [Jesus] Art [Are] thou [You] He that should come, or do we look for another?

[John wanted to know if Jesus Christ’s first advent [Appearance] was it or was there going to be another advent. [Appearance]

[John the Baptist was the last prophet sent by Yahveh [God] before Jesus Christ’s first advent. [Appearance]

4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew [Show] John again those things which ye do hear and see:

[In other words tell John what you have heard and seen.]

5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

[John the Baptist knew about the gap theory. The gap theory begins with Jesus Christ picking up the Book of Isaiah as it is written in St. Luke 4:17 and reading chapter sixty one verse one and part of verse two of the book of Isaiah. Let’s go there.]

Isaiah 61

1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me; because the LORD hath [Has] anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath [Has] sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,

[Jesus Christ stopped in the middle of verse two because the second part of the verse said

and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;]

[Jesus Christ stopped reading because the day of vengeance is the Second Advent. The Second Advent begins when Jesus Christ returns to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords to rule with a rod of iron.]

[John the Baptist knew the gap theory and is why Jesus Christ told John’s disciples [Students] what is written in verse five. Jesus Christ didn’t taken any vengeance because vengeance will be taken when He returns as Lord of lords, King of kings, to rule with a rod of iron.]

[So Jesus Christ’s answer to John the Baptist is this is not the time.]

[Let’s return to St. Matthew 11:6.]

6 And blessed is he, [Or she] whosoever shall not be offended in Me.

[In other words blessed is he or she that won’t let Jesus Christ become a stumbling block.]

[Jesus Christ could become a stumbling block to people who claim they except Jesus Christ but don’t study His word because they don’t and won’t know the difference between the fake Christ satan and the true Jesus Christ when the fake Christ satan appears on earth five months before our Lord Jesus Christ returns to earth. They will end up following satan.]

[Let’s go to St. Mark 13:19. Jesus Christ tells us about the tribulation of the anti [Instead of] Christ satan.]

St. Mark 13

19 For in those days shall be affliction, [Tribulation] such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God [Yahveh] created unto this time, neither shall be.

[Affliction meaning tribulation. This is the first tribulation, the tribulation of the anti-Christ satan. satan comes first for a five month period, and after that five month period Jesus Christ will return and then there will be the second tribulation, the tribulation of Yahveh.]

20 And except that the Lord [Yahveh] had shortened those days, [The days of the tribulation of the anti-Christ satan to a five month period of time.] no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom He hath [Has] chosen, He hath [Has] shortened the days.

[The five month period of the tribulation of the anti-Christ satan is documented in Revelation 9:5&10. The Lord shortened satan’s days of tribulation because the anti-Christ satan is going to so slick and convincing most people of the world will be deceived and convinced that he is Jesus Christ and if He gave satan more time he could even deceive Yahveh’s [God’s] elect.]

[Keep in mind satan comes first for a five month period of time claiming to be and acting like he is Jesus Christ. Keep in mind that on the return of Jesus Christ everybody in a flesh body will go into their spiritual body. You will be in a flesh body at the time satan is on earth if your flesh body is still alive. The instant your flesh body dies your intellect [Your thinking process] and your soul [which is you] go back to Yahveh. This is documented in 1 Corinthians 15: 51&52, 2 Corinthians 5:8, Ecclesiastes 12:7, Revelation 6:9&10, and St. John 3:13.]

[Let’s return to St. Mark 13:21 and continue with what will be happening on earth before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.]

21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, He is there; believe him not:

[In other words don’t believe man or woman because they will have been deceived by the anti [Instead of] Christ satan, taken out of season, harvested by satan instead of our Lord Jesus Christ.]

[Keep in mind as it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:51&52 the instant Jesus Christ returns to earth you will go into your spiritual body. IF you’re not in a spiritual body then Jesus Christ isn’t on earth.]

22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, [These are the supernatural that will be cast out of Heaven.] and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, [Seduce meaning to lead astray, meaning to deceive people into believing that satan is Jesus Christ.] if it were possible, even the elect.

[Study and become a doer of Yahveh’s [God’s] word and you will become one of Yahveh’s [God’s] free will elect. Don’t be deceived.]

[Let’s return to St. Matthew 11:7.]

7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye [You] out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

[In other words did you go out into the wilderness to see a man with no stability at all; a man not sure of himself?]

[John was sure of himself and he taught Yahveh’s [God’s] word as it was written.]

8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? [The Greek manuscript says a woman in effeminate attire.] behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.

[In king’s houses they wear silk and the best of everything.]

9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.

[John the Baptist was the last prophet before Jesus Christ appeared on earth.]

10 For this is he, [John the Baptist] of whom it is written, [It is written in Malachi 3:1]
Behold, I send My messenger before thy [Your] face, which shall prepare Thy way before thee. [You]

11 Verily [Truly] I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath [Has] not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

[Flesh and blood can not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. People on the right side of Heaven under the altar of Yahveh [God] have overcome and have been resurrected. John the Baptist was on earth and still in his flesh body. When John goes to Heaven he will not be least in the Kingdom of Heaven.]

12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth [Suffers] violence, and the violent take it by force.

[Some scholar’s say this verse says the forceful ones are trying to take Heaven. Other scholar’s say Jesus Christ is saying Heaven is not taken by effeminate dressed people that claim to be priest’s of God, reeds shaking in the wind. Reeds shaking in the wind are people who believe one thing one minute and another thing the next minute.]

[Jesus Christ has been talking about reeds shaking in the wind. People claiming to be Christians but fail to learn Yahveh’s [God’s] word. People that will allow Him to become a stumbling block because of lack of knowledge of His word.]

[The Kingdom of Heaven is taken by people who know Yahveh’s [God’s] word and know how to preach Yahveh’s [God’s] word, not by people playing church. The Kingdom of Yahveh [God] is taken by Yahveh’s [God’s] word not man’s word.]

13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

[John the Baptist was the last prophet to appear before Jesus Christ appeared on earth.]

14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, [Elijah] which was for to come.

[They didn’t receive Jesus Christ or John the Baptist so the answer is as it is written in St. Luke 1:17; John the Baptist was in the spirit of Elias. [Elijah]

[People will not have any choice in receiving Jesus Christ and Elijah when Jesus Christ returns at the Second Advent because Jesus Christ is returning as Lord of lords and King of kings to rule with a rod of iron.]

[Elijah never died; he was transfigured. Moses and Elijah showed up at the mount of transfiguration. It is written of in St. Matthew 17:1-9 and St. Luke 9:28-36.]

15 He [Or she] that hath [Has] ears to hear, let him hear.

16 But whereunto [What] shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

[In verse sixteen Jesus Christ is saying people are ignorant, having no idea of what is happening or what is going to happen.]

17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

[In other words Jesus Christ is with them so why should they play funeral and mourn.]

18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath [Has] a devil.

[John the Baptist was a righteous man and they accused him of having a devil.]

19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a Man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans [Government employees] and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

[In other words truth is vindicated by her children.]

[Jesus Christ came to save sinners not self righteous hypocrites. He taught sinners in order to be able to grant them eternal life.]

20 Then began He [Jesus Christ] to upbraid [Taunt] the cities wherein most of His mighty works were done, because they repented not:

[People are judged as individuals. People will be judged as individuals in those cities. Evidently there were many evil and unbelieving people there.]

21 Woe unto thee, [You] Chorazin! woe unto thee, [You] Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, [Miracles] which were done in you, [They saw Jesus Christ do the miracles.] had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

[Tyre was a stronghold of satan. Evidently there were many evil people in Chorazin and Bethsaida.]

22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

[Verse twenty two is why some people say people are judged by opportunity. People who had the opportunity to hear Yahveh’s [God’s] word the best and the most.]

[Yahveh [God] judges by a person’s knowledge and their opportunity to receive knowledge, and how they think. Yahveh [God] is always fair and just.]

23 And thou, Capernaum, which art [Are] exalted [Lifted up] unto heaven, shalt [Shall] be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, [You] had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

[In other words if the miracles had been preformed in Sodom it wouldn’t have been destroyed because many people there would have repented.]

[Sodom was destroyed by Yahveh [God] because most of the people there were gay. [Homosexual] It is an abomination to Yahveh [God] to be homosexual.]

[Capernaum meaning city of mayhem. [Compassion]

24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. [You]

[Jesus Christ did the miracles in front of the people of Capernaum. The people of Sodom didn’t see the miracles or hear the words of Jesus Christ.]

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, [You] O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou [You] hast [Have] hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast [Has] revealed them unto babes.

[Jesus Christ hid things from people wise in the ways of the world and revealed them to babes. Babes are His children that follow Him. His children are His elect from the earth age that was and free will elect of this earth age. Yahveh’s [God’s] elect are people who truly want to learn and become doers of His word. As it is written in Romans 11:7&8 Yahveh [God] blinded the rest to the truth of His word.]

26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in Thy [Your] sight.

[In other words it was for Your own pleasure.]

[It was good to bring the truth to people who truly want to learn and become doers of Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]

27 All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: [In other words Yahveh [God] put Jesus Christ in control of everything.] and no man [Or woman] knoweth [Knows] the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth [Knows] any man [Or woman] the Father, save the Son, and he [Or she] to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him.

[Jesus Christ is in control. He will give some people eyes to see and hear His word and some people He won’t.]

[If you have seen the son you have seen the Father. [Yahveh] In Genesis 1:26&27 Yahveh [God] said let us make man in our image and Jesus Christ was the image of Yahveh. In fact Jesus Christ was Yahveh [God] with us in a flesh body.]

28 Come unto [To] me, all ye [You] that labour [Work hard] and are heavy laden, [Loaded down with worldly things including government and taxation.] and I will give you rest.

[Rest meaning Sabbath and when you rest in Jesus Christ He will give you peace of mind. You rest in Jesus Christ by putting Him first in your life by learning and becoming a doer of His word.]

29 Take My yoke upon you, [Join with Me] and learn of Me; [Learn wisdom and knowledge of My word.] for I am meek [Gentle and humble] and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest [Peace of mind] unto your souls. [Your soul is you.]

[Put Jesus Christ first in your life by learning and becoming a doer of His word and He will give you peace of mind.]

30 For my yoke [Joining with Me] is easy, and My burden is light.

[Join with Jesus Christ by learning and becoming a doer of His word and He will take a load off your mind by giving you peace of mind. He will stand between you and the hardships of this flesh life.]
