Luke 19
19:1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, [Tax collectors] and he was rich.
[Zacchaeus was the chief tax collector.]
3 And he sought [Was trying to] to see Jesus who He was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
[In other words Zacchaeus was a short person and there were so many people around Jesus that Zacchaeus couldn’t get close enough to see Him.]
4 And he ran before, [Ahead of the press] and climbed up into a sycomore tree [A fig tree] to see Him: [Jesus] for He was to pass that way.
5 And when Jesus came to the place, [The fig tree] He looked up, and saw him, and said unto [To] him, Zacchaeus, make haste, [Hurry] and come down; for to day I must abide [Stay,] at thy [Your] house.
[It was Jesus Christ’s plan to stay with Zacchaeus that day.]
6 And he made haste, [He hurried] and came down, and received Him joyfully.
[Zacchaeus received Jesus Christ joyfully, he was happy.]
7 And when they [The crowd] saw it, they all murmured, saying, That He [Jesus Christ] was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
[They were self righteous hypocrites.]
8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto [To] the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
[Fourfold is the price a sheep stealer would pay for restitution.]
9 And Jesus said unto [To] him, This day is salvation come to this house, [Family] forsomuch as he [Zacchaeus] also is a son [Offspring] of Abraham.
[Jesus Christ came to save Israelite’s, they are the offspring of Abraham.]
[The man was forgiven just as you can be forgiven by having faith and being a doer of Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]
10 For the Son of man [Jesus Christ] is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
[As it is written in Jeremiah 3:8 the tribes of Israel were divorced by Yahveh.]
[The tribes of Israel migrated over the Caucus Mountains and became know as Caucasians. They scattered through out Europe and later migrated to North America and formed what is now called the United States one nation that is supposed to be under Yahveh.]
11 And as they [The crowd, the press] heard these things, He [Jesus] added and spake [Spoke] a parable, because He was nigh [Close] to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
[The crowd did not know He will return as Lord of lords and King of kings and rule with a rod of iron. This hasn’t happened yet. IF you understand the parable of the fig tree written of in St. Matthew 24:32-34 you have knowledge of the approximate time our Lord Jesus Christ will return.]
12 He [Jesus] said therefore, A certain nobleman [Jesus Christ] went into a far country to receive for Himself a kingdom, and to return.
[Jesus Christ is going away but He will return.]
13 And He called His ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto [To] them, Occupy [Trade with] till I come.
[In other words testify, plant seeds, [Yahveh’s [God’s] word] work, and be fruitful.]
14 But His citizens hated Him, and sent a message after Him, saying, We will not have this Man to reign [Rule] over us.
[They didn’t accept Jesus Christ when He first appeared.]
15 And it came to pass, that when He was returned, [When Jesus returns as Lord of lords and King of kings.] having received the kingdom, then He commanded these servants to be called unto [To] Him, to whom He had given the money, that He might know how much every man had gained by trading.
[The money to trade with is Yahveh’s [God’s] word to be used to testify and plant His word in people.]
[He wanted to know what His servants had done for Him.]
16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, Thy pound [Yahveh’s [God’s] truth] hath [Has] gained ten pounds.
[The first man had spread the word of Yahveh, he had planted seeds.]
17 And He [Jesus] said unto [To] him, Well, thou [You] good servant: because thou [You] hast [Have] been faithful in a very little, have thou [You have] authority over ten cities.
[Yahveh [God] will give His servants what they can handle. Blessings and rewards are waiting in Heaven for people who put Jesus Christ first in their lives by doing His will.]
18 And the second came, saying, Lord, Thy [Your] pound hath [Has] gained five pounds.
19 And He [Jesus] said likewise to him, Be thou [You] also over five cities.
20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is Thy [Your] pound, [Yahveh’s [God’s] word.] which I have kept laid up in a napkin: [Towel]
21 For I feared Thee, [You] because thou [You] art [Are] an austere [Hard] Man: Thou [You] takest up that Thou [You] layedst [Lay] not down, and reapest that Thou [You] didst [Did] not sow.
22 And He [Jesus Christ] saith [Said] unto [To] him, Out of thine [Your] own mouth will I judge thee, [You] thou [You] wicked servant. Thou [You] knewest [Knew] that I was an austere [Hard] Man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
23 Wherefore then gavest [Gave] not thou [You] My money [Word] into the bank, [Into people] that at My coming I might have required Mine own with usury? [Interest]
[The man didn’t testify, he didn’t spread Yahveh’s [God’s] word, he didn’t plant one seed.]
24 And He [Jesus] said unto [To] them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath [Has] ten pounds.
[In other words if you can’t produce Yahveh [God] will take His word away from you and give it to someone else.]
25[And they said unto [To] Him, Lord, he hath [Has] ten pounds.]
26 For I say unto [To] you, That unto every one which hath [Has Yahveh’s [God’s] word] shall be given; [He or she will be given more.] and from him that hath [Has] not, even that he hath [Has] shall be taken away from him.
[It is the work you do for Jesus Christ that counts.]
27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign [Rule] over them, bring hither, [Them here] and slay them before Me.
[Jesus is talking about the tares. Tares are Kenites and people whowill not accept Yahveh [God] even during the millennium.]
[Kenites are the offspring of satan and Eve’s affair in the Garden of Eden. Cain is the offspring of satan and Eve. Documentation is in St. John 8:38 – 47.
28 And when He [Jesus] had thus spoken, He went before, [Ahead] ascending up to Jerusalem.
29 And it came to pass, [It happened] when He was come nigh [Close] to Bethphage [Bethphage meaning house of figs.] and Bethany, [Bethany meaning house of misery] at the mount called the mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,
30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, [Untie him] and bring him hither. [Here]
[The colt had never been broke to ride.]
31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye [you] loose him? [Untie him] thus shall ye [You] say unto [To] him, Because the Lord hath [Has] need of him.
[Yahveh’s [God’s] plan is always prearranged.]
32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as He [Jesus] had said unto [To] them.
[The colt was there.]
33 And as they were loosing [Untying] the colt, the owners thereof said unto [To] them, Why loose ye the colt? [Why are you untying the colt?]
34 And they said, The Lord hath [Has] need of him.
35 And they brought him [The colt] to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
[It was an unbroken colt. Yahveh [God] is in control.]
36 And as He [Jesus] went, they spread their clothes in the way [Path or road.]
[They were making a royal walkway.]
37 And when He was come nigh, [Close to Jerusalem] even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude [Large number] of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
[They were saying Hosanna. Hosanna meaning save us now. They were calling Him savior.]
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh [Comes] in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude [Crowd] said unto [To] Him, Master, rebuke thy [Your] disciples.
[The Pharisees didn’t like what they were saying because there were Kenites among them. They knew the scripture but they refused the man.]
40 And He [Jesus] answered and said unto [To] them, [The Pharisees] I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones [The earth] would immediately cry out.
41 And when He was come near, [To Jerusalem] He beheld [Looked upon] the city, and wept over it,
[Jerusalem is Yahveh’s [God’s] favorite spot in the universe. Yahveh [God] has feelings. He has the same feelings we do. He created mankind in His image.]
42 Saying, [And He said] If thou [You] hadst [Had] known, even thou, [You] at least in this thy [Your] day, the things which belong unto [To] thy [Your] peace! but now they are hid from thine [Your] eyes.
[It is hid from their eyes because they chose traditions of man rather then Yahveh’s [God’s] word.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, [Jerusalem] that thine [Your] enemies shall cast a trench about thee, [You] and compass thee [You] round, and keep thee [You] in on every side,
[In other words your enemies are going to surround the city.]
44 And shall lay thee [You] even with the ground, [There will not be one stone left upon another.] and thy [Your] children within thee; [You] and they shall not leave in thee [You] one stone upon another; because thou [You] knewest [Knew] not the time of Thy [Your] visitation.
[They don’t know when Jesus Christ will return. They don’t know Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]
45 And He [Jesus Christ] went into the temple, and began to cast [Throw] out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
[Jesus was cleaning house. He was throwing out the mite infested doves and money changers and people who were buying from them. St. John known as the disciple Jesus loved gives us a better understanding of how Jesus drove them out of the temple. John tells us in St. John that Jesus made a whip of small cords [It was more then likely what is called a cat of nine tails.] and drove them all out of the temple including sheep and oxen and poured out the money changers money and overturned the their tables. He was not happy.]
46 Saying unto [To] them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: [It is a house of prayer for all people.] but ye [You] have made it a den of thieves. [This is written in Isaiah 56:7.]
[It was a den of thieves because the money changers were selling mite infested doves to people to sacrifice. Mite infested doves are not a sacrifice Yahveh [God] would approve of. Actually what Yahveh [God] wants is your love. You are His child.]
47 And He [Jesus] taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes
and the chief of the people sought to destroy [Kill] Him,
[The chief priests were fakes because they were not appointed by Yahveh, and the scribes were Kenites or mostly Kenites the offspring of satan.]
[What kind of a church was this?]
48 And could not find what they might do: [They were looking for a way to kill Jesus.] for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.
[The people wanted to hear Jesus Christ because what He said made common sense.]
