Luke 17

17:1 Then said He [Jesus Christ] unto [To] the disciples, It is impossible but that offences
[Offences meaning a cause of displeasure or sin.] will come: [In other words you are
going to have stumbling blocks.] but woe [Grief] unto [To] him, [Or her] through who they come.

[In other words grief to whosoever puts stumbling blocks in the path of Yahveh’s [God’s]
Elect.]

2 It were [would be] better for him [Or her] that a millstone [A heavy stone] were hanged about his [Or her] neck, and he [Or her] cast into the sea, [In other words it would be better they be drowned.] than that he [Or she] should offend to one of these little ones.

[Offend meaning to cause a person to stumble, to entice to sin, or cause a person to turn away from Jesus Christ. One of these little ones is God’s Elect, one of the humble, people who put Jesus Christ first in their lives by doing His will. They are a little flock because there are not many of them.]

3 Take heed to[Pay attention to, have regard for] yourselves: If thy [Your] brother [Blood brother or Christian brother] trespass against thee, [You] rebuke him; [Let him know about it.] and if he repent, forgive him.

[Repent meaning he is sorry and has a change of heart.]

4 And if he [Or she] trespass against thee [You] seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, [You] saying, I repent; thou [You] shalt [Shall] forgive him.[Or her]

[Repent meaning he or she is sorry for what they did and has a change of heart.]

5 And the apostles said unto [To] the Lord, [Jesus Christ] Increase our faith.

6 And the Lord said, If ye [You] had faith as a grain of mustard seed, [A grain of mustard seed is the smallest seed.] ye [You] might say unto [To] this sycamine tree, [a sycamine tree is a black mulberry tree full of worms, where birds roost, where satan is.] Be thou [You] plucked up by the root, and be thou [You] planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

[Verse six is purely hypnotic. If you have faith you have power over satan which is to say death.]

7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto [To] him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

[In other words which of you will say I am going to fix supper for you?]

8 And will not rather say unto [To] him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, [Yourself] and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; [Drank] and afterward thou [You] shalt eat and drink? [This is normal for a servant.]

9 Doth [Does] he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow [Think] not.

[Faith doesn’t need thanks. We do what we are supposed to do, and we do not deserve any special thanks because it was ours to do as a Christian.]

10 So likewise ye, [You] when ye [You] shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

[In other words faith comes from hearing and obeying and being doers of Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]

[As it is written in Romans 10:17 faith comes by hearing [With understanding] and hearing by [From] the word of God.]

11 And it came to pass, [It happened] as He [Jesus Christ] went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst [Middle] of Samaria and Galilee.

[Samaria is where the ten tribes of Israel were.]

12 And as He [Jesus] entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

[Nine of them were of the ten tribes of Israel and one was a stranger.]

13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy [Compassion] on us.

[By saying this they are showing they have faith.]

14 And when He [Jesus] saw them, He said unto [To] them, Go shew [Show] yourselves unto [To] the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

[This is an example of how Jesus Christ would do away with blood sacrifices.]

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

[When you praise Yahveh [God] it comes from your heart showing faith and love.]

16 And fell down on his face at His [Jesus Christ’s] feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

[He was called a stranger because he wasn’t of the twelve tribes of Israel.]

19 And He said unto [To] him, Arise, go thy [Your] way: thy [Your] faith hath [Has] made thee [You] whole.

[His life was made whole, complete.]

20 And when He [Jesus Christ] was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh [Comes] not with observation:

[The Kingdom of Yahveh [God] doesn’t come by hostile watching. It comes gradually one of the seven trumps at a time.]

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within [Among] you.

[Jesus Christ is King and the earth is His dominion. He was there with them.]

22 And He [Jesus] said unto [To] the disciples, The days will come, when ye [You] shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye [You] shall not see it.

[In other words you will desire to see a day I was here in the flesh. You will want to talk to Me so you’d better listen to Me while you can.]

23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

[In other words people will say they seen Me here and there but do not believe them.]

[Do not believe them because it will be the anti [Instead of] Christ satan who has come to deceive the whole world if possible. satan appears at the sixth trump, Jesus Christ appears after satan at the seventh trump. When Jesus Christ appears all souls [People] will go into their spiritual bodies.]

24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth [Shines] unto the other part under heaven; [Michael is going to kick satan and his angels out of heaven.] so shall also the Son of man be in His day.

[The Son of man [Jesus Christ’s] day is the day He returns. The first day of the millennium, the 2nd advent. Advent means coming. The coming of the Lord.]

25 But first must He [The Son of man, Yahshua, our Lord Jesus Christ] suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

[He will be crucified on a cross.]

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, [Noah] so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

[This is written of in Genesis 6:1-4. Let’s go there.]

Genesis 6:1-4

6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply [Increase in number] on the face of the earth, [Men of the offspring of Adam.] and daughters were born unto [To] them,

2 That the sons of God [They are angelic beings.] saw the daughters of men that they were fair; [They were very pretty.] and they took them wives of all which they chose.

[In other words they seduced the daughters of men.]

[These angelic beings left their habitation in Heaven and came to earth. They were not born of woman.]

3 And the LORD said, My spirit [His Holy Spirit] shall not always strive [Rule, judge] with man, [Adams offspring] for that he also is flesh: [In the first earth age man was in a spiritual body.] yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; [In the days of Noah] and also after that, when the sons of God [Angelic beings] came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

[They knew what happened in the first earth age that was.]

[Let’s return to St. Luke 17:27.]

[Our Lord Jesus Christ continues speaking in verse twenty seven.]

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe [Noah] entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

[In other words the flood destroyed the fallen angels and all their offspring.]

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [Built]

[They planted the false doctrine of man. Look at some of the churches today.]

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

[Yahveh [God] destroyed Sodom because of the wickedness of the people who lived there. They were perverts, gay people. There was not one righteous man or woman living there except for Lot and his family.]

[Righteous meaning to do what is right according to Yahveh. You learn what is right by learning His word.]

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

[In other words angelic beings will be giving and taking in marriage and Yahveh/Jesus Christ will destroy the wickedness of the people of the earth when He returns on the first day of the millennium.]

31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, [The watchmen are on the housetop, they stand watch there.] and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

[You won’t need your stuff because Jesus Christ is about to return and you are going to be turned into your spiritual body.]

32 Remember Lot’s wife.

[Lot’s wife looked back. She missed what was going on in Sodom. Because she missed what was going on in Sodom Yahveh [God] turned her into a pillar of salt.]

33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

[Whosoever seeks to save his life by listening to the false doctrine of man will lose it because he or she will follow the anti [Instead of] Christ satan. Whosoever shall put Jesus Christ first in their life and stand up for Him will be given eternal life.]

34 I tell you, in that night [Before Jesus Christ returns] there shall be two men [People] in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

[The one taken will be deceived by the anti [Instead of] Christ satan. satan comes first at the sixth trump, and Jesus Christ returns at the seventh trump.]

[The one knowing Yahveh’s [God’s] word will still be working and waiting for our Lord Jesus Christ.]

[The word men in verse thirty four is man added. It was not written in the Greek manuscripts from which the New Testament was translated. It should say there will be two in one bed.]

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken,

[The one taken will be deceived by and follow the anti [Instead of] Christ satan] and the other left.]

[The one taken will be deceived by and follow the anti [Instead of] Christ satan. The one left will be a person who has put Yahveh [God] first in their life by learning and becoming a doer of His word. He or she will know Yahveh’s [God’s] word and know our Lord Jesus Christ returns five month’s after satan appears on earth.]

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

[The one taken will have been deceived by and follow the anti [Instead of] Christ satan. The one left will be a true Christian. He will be waiting for Jesus Christ to return. The fake Christ satan, the anti [Instead of] Christ comes first at the 6th trump. Jesus Christ will return at the 7th trump. Our Lord Jesus Christ returns after satan has been on earth five month’s.]

37 And they [His disciples] answered and said unto [To] him, Where, Lord? And He said unto [To] them, wheresoever the body [The dead body] is, thither [There] will the eagles [Vultures] be gathered together.

[The dead bodies are the two witness of Revelation chapter eleven.]
