St. Matthew 15

15:1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2 Why do thy [Your] disciples transgress [Violate] the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

[The washing of hands was a ritual not necessarily done to have clean hands to eat with.]

[The traditions of the elders were the traditions of man not Yahveh/Jesus Christ. His disciples couldn’t have cared less about the traditions of the elders.]

3 But he [Jesus] answered and said unto [To] them, Why do ye [You] also transgress [Violate] the commandment of God [Yahveh] by your tradition?

4 For God [Yahveh] commanded, saying, Honour thy [Your] father and mother: [Exodus 20:12] and, He [Or she] that curseth [Curses] father or mother, let him die the death.

5 But ye [You] say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou [You] mightest [Might] be profited by me;

[The proper translation from the Greek manuscripts say it is corban. Corban was a sacrifice supposedly made to Yahveh.]

[The scribes and Pharisees were making sacrifices to their so called church but were failing to take care of their parents and profiting from it. Because they were failing to take care of their parents they were breaking Yahveh’s [God’s] commandment to honor their father and mother.]

[Jesus Christ is telling them they are a bunch of thief’s.]

6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. [It will be okay.] Thus have ye [You] made the commandment of God [Yahveh] of none effect by your tradition.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias [Isaiah] prophesy of you, [In Isaiah 29:13] saying,

8 This people draweth [Draw] nigh [Near] unto [To] Me with their mouth, [In the forgoing case they say it’s for the church.] and honoureth [Honor] Me with their lips; [They say it’s for a good cause.] but their heart [Mind] is far from Me.

[In other words they have something else other then Me on there mind in their traditions.]

[They don’t keep Yahveh’s [God’s] commandments.]

9 But in vain [Emptiness] they do worship Me, [Yahveh] teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

[The scribes and Pharisees were teaching the traditions of men not Yahveh. Some so called ministers and ministries do this today. If what they are preaching is not the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ or not Biblical as written in the King James Bible according to the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts from which the Bible was translated BEWARE of them. BEWARE of them because they will lead you astray.]

10 And He called the multitude, [Large crowd] and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

[Hear and understand the following verse.]

11 Not that which goeth [Goes] into the mouth defileth [Defiles] a man; [Or woman] but that which cometh [Comes] out of the mouth, this defileth [Defiles] a man. [Or woman]

[In other words it’s what a man or woman thinks and says that causes them to become defiled, not what they eat.]

12 Then came His disciples, and said unto [To] Him, Knowest thou [Don’t you know] that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

[The Pharisees were not happy.]

[Jesus Christ couldn’t have cared less about the Pharisees being offended.]

13 But He [Jesus] answered and said, Every plant, [Soul] which My heavenly Father hath [Has] not planted, shall be rooted up.

[Evidently Yahveh [God] didn’t plant the Pharisees Jesus was talking to. Jesus Christ is referring to Kenites [The Offspring of satan through Cain] written of in St. Matthew 13:37 – 43. Let’s go there.]

St. Matthew 13

37 He [Jesus Christ] answered and said unto them, He that soweth [Sows] the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; [Kingdom meaning the King Yahveh/Jesus Christ and His dominion.] but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

[The wicked one is satan.]

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; [satan] the harvest is the end of the world; [This world age.] and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares [Offspring of satan] are gathered and burned in the fire; [In the lake of fire] so shall it be in the end of this world. [This world age.]

[Yahveh [God] is a consuming fire. IF you don’t want to get burned you had better put Him first in your life by doing His will sometime before The Great White Throne Judgment. If you are part of the fire you won’t get burned.]

[Yahveh’s [God’s] will is for you to learn and become a doer of His word.]

41 The Son of man [Jesus Christ] shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, [Offend meaning to cause displeasure or sin, or cause people to stumble.] and them which do iniquity;

[To do iniquity meaning to violate Yahveh’s [God’s] laws.]

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

[The righteous are people that have done what is right according to Yahveh. This includes repenting of sins.]

[Let’s return to St. Matthew 15:14.]

14 Let them [The Pharisees] alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

[Ditch meaning a hole in the ground, specifically a cistern.]

[The Pharisees [Offspring of satan] don’t have eyes to see or ears to hear Yahveh’s
[God’s] word and people that follow them don’t have eyes to see or ears to hear Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]

15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

[Peter knew the scripture but he didn’t understand what Jesus was talking about.]

16 And Jesus said, Are ye [You] also yet without understanding?

17 Do not ye [You] yet understand, that whatsoever entereth [Enters] in at the mouth goeth [Goes] into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; [Mind] and they defile the man. [Or woman]

[In other words it’s what a person believes and says defiles a person.]

19 For out of the heart [Mind] proceed evil thoughts, murders, [People being murdered.] adulteries, [People committing adultery, especially people failing to put Yahveh [God] first in their life. They pay more attention to their material things.] fornications, [Unlawful lust, including idol worship.] thefts, [Stealing from people.] false witness, [Telling lies about people.] blasphemies: [Speaking evil against Yahveh]

[All of these things are evil.]

[Yahveh [God] expects you to put Him first in your life. Any material thing you put before Him in your life is an idol and makes you an idol worshiper. Your prayers will not be answered if you are an idol worshiper, and you won’t be raised up in the first resurrection written of in Revelation 20:4-6.]

20 These are the things which defile a man: [Or woman] but to eat with unwashen [Unwashed] hands defileth [Defile] not a man. [Or woman]

21 Then Jesus went thence, [From there] and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

[Tyre meaning the rock. It is one of satan’s strong holds. It is a small distance from the shore of Sidon.]

[It is fifty miles from where Jesus was to Sidon. He walked there.]

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy [Compassion] on me, O Lord, thou [You] Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed [Possessed] with a devil.

[Canaan was the fourth son of Ham the Grandson of Noah. Evidently she was a descendant of Canaan.]

[She is not an Israelite, but Jesus Christ walked fifty miles to see her and is going to walk another fifty miles back. A one hundred mile hike to do what He went there to do.]

23 But He [Jesus] answered her not a word. And His disciples came and besought [Requested of] Him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth [Cries] after us.

[She was following them.]

24 But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

[Up until the time Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for the sins of all mankind He was sent only to the people of the twelve tribes of Israel, the lost sheep of the house of Israel.]

25 Then came she and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me.

[She had great faith because she knew Jesus could heal her daughter.]

26 But He answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s [The twelve tribes of Israel] bread, and to cast it to dogs. [Meaning Puppies, and symbolizing the Gentile races and nations.]

27 And she said, Truth, [I know that] Lord: yet the dogs [Puppies] eat of the crumbs [A little bit or morsel.] which fall from their masters’ [Lord’s] table.

[She is asking for some of those crumbs.]

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto [To] her, O woman, great is thy [Your] faith: be it unto thee [You] even as thou [You] wilt. [Desire] And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

[Jesus Christ is the bread of life and she asked for a crumb [A little bit or morsel] of it and He gave it to her.]

[Jesus Christ was showing that salvation would soon be available to all mankind.]

29 And Jesus departed from thence, [From there and walked fifty miles] and came nigh [Near] unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

30 And great multitudes [Crowds] came unto [To] Him, having with them those [People] that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and He healed them:

[He healed them all.]

31 Insomuch that the multitude [Crowd] wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

[Yahveh is the God of Israel, and Jesus Christ was Yahveh [God] with us in a flesh body.]

32 Then Jesus called His disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, [Crowd] because they continue with Me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

[Three days is very important in the ministry of our lord Jesus Christ. He was in the tomb three days and three days meaning they had faith in Him. It appears that they had not eaten in three days and He was worried about them. In St. Matthew 14:15-21 Jesus Christ fed approximately 10,000 people and now He is going to feed again.

33 And His disciples say unto Him, Whence [From where] should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? [Crowd]

[Spiritually our Lord has enough bread [Word] to feed whosoever will truly seek Him IF He gives them ears to hear and eyes to see.]

34 And Jesus saith [Said] unto [To] them, How many loaves have ye? [You] And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

[Seven in Biblical numerics meaning spiritual completeness.]

35 And He commanded the multitude [Crowd] to sit down on the ground.

[They would be fed in an orderly way. When you teach Yahveh’s [God’s] word or plant seeds do it in an orderly way so people will understand the full meaning of what you are saying.]

36 And He [Jesus Christ] took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, [To Yahveh] and brake [Broke] them, and gave to His disciples, [Students of His word] and the disciples to the multitude. [Crowd]

[Jesus Christ didn’t feed the people. He gave it to His disciples and they fed the people. IF you are a disciple or Apostle [One sent by God] it is your job to feed the people. If you are a seed planter it is your job to plant some of Yahveh’s [God’s] word in people.]

[The true famine in these end times is for the word of Yahveh.]

[Always thank your Father Yahveh [God] for the food you eat. Be it His word or the food you eat. You thank Him for the food you eat because He is the one who created it so you would have something to eat.]

37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

39 And He [Jesus Christ] sent away the multitude, [Crowd] and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala,

[Magdala was a place on the Sea of Galilee. Mary Magdalene was either born there or lived there or maybe both.]
