Hebrews 3

3:1 Wherefore, [Because of this] holy brethren, partakers [Participants] of the heavenly calling, [Those who want a Heavenly life.] consider [Think about] the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

[Believe in Jesus Christ and put him first in your life.]

[In verse two Paul is quoting Numbers 12:7.]

2 Who was faithful to Him [Yahveh] that appointed Him, [Jesus Christ] as also Moses was faithful in all His [Yahveh’s] house.

3 For this man [Jesus Christ] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who hath [Has] builded [Built] the house [Of Yahveh] hath [Has] more honour than the house.

4 For every house is builded by some man; but He that built all things is God.

[Yahveh [God] created the air you breathe, and everything on earth, and gave man the wisdom to build all things built by man from His creation.]

5 And Moses verily [Truly] was faithful in all His [Yahveh’s] house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; [After the coming of Jesus Christ.]

[Yahveh’s [God’s] word and the law Yahveh [God] gave to Moses will continue. Yahveh [God] made the laws and Moses was the lawgiver.]

6 But Christ as a son over His own house; whose house are we, [We are the many membered body of Jesus Christ.] if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

[Confidence Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, and confidence you will be forgiven for your sins upon repentance, and confidence in the word of Yahveh, and the hope of eternal life.]

[IF you put Yahveh/Jesus Christ first in your life, and do His will which is to study and learn His word, you will have confidence.]

[Verses 7-11 are quoted from Psalms 95 where the Holy Spirit was speaking through the author of Psalms 95. The Israelite’s wouldn’t listen to Yahveh [God] then, and many people won’t listen to Yahveh [God] now.]

7 Wherefore [as the Holy Ghost [Spirit] saith, [Says] To day if ye [You] will hear His voice,

[If you put Him first in your life, and do His will, which is to study and learn, and become doers of His word.

8 Harden not your hearts, [Minds] as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

[During the 40 years the Israelite’s wandered in the wilderness [Desert] they provoked Yahveh [God] into being angry]

[Don’t harden your mind against Yahveh [God] like they did. Put Yahveh [God] first in your life by learning and becoming a doer of His word.]

9 When your fathers tempted Me, proved [Tested] Me, [Yahveh] and saw My works forty years.

10 Wherefore [Because your fathers tempted and tested Me] I was grieved with that generation, [It hurt Yahveh.] and said, They do always [Always] err in their heart; [They don’t listen to Yahveh.] and they have not known My ways. [They didn’t do His will.]

11 So I sware in My wrath, [Anger] They [That generation] shall not enter into My rest.

[Yahveh’s [God’s] rest is where He dwells. They will not enter into His rest until they have a change of heart, until they repent, and they can’t make a good repentance until they put Yahveh [God] first in their lives.]

[Verse eleven is the end of what was said in Psalms 95 by the Holy Spirit. Paul continues in verse twelve.

12 Take heed, [Be careful] brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

[In other words do Yahveh’s [God’s] will; start putting Him first in your life today by praying for wisdom and knowledge in His word. His will is for you to learn and become a doer of His word.]

13 But exhort [Be of good comfort to, pray for] one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness [Deceived by the glamour] of sin.

[Sin will pull you away from Yahveh.]

14 For we are made partakers [Participants, associates] of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence [The word confidence in the Greek meaning boldness of speech. Freely and openly concerning Jesus Christ in this case.] stedfast unto the end;
[In other words keep speaking boldly, freely and openly about Jesus Christ until He returns.]

[Paul is not talking about being a religious fanatic. Paul is talking about being bold in Jesus Christ’s word when the opportunity arises. satan is coming first, five month’s before the return of Jesus Christ to deceive people who don’t know Yahveh’s [God’s] word. We are to be here working for Jesus Christ until He returns.]

15 While it is said, To day if ye [You] will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, [Minds] as in the provocation. [Irritation]

[Don’t do as Yahveh’s [God’s] children did in the forty years they were in the wilderness because Yahveh [God] doesn’t like it at all. Learn Yahveh’s [God’s] word, not the doctrine of some so called churches or man. Stay in Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]

16 For some, when they had heard, [Heard Yahveh’s [God’s] word.] did provoke: [They provoked Yahveh, they made Him angry.] howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

[Not all of them that came out of Egypt with Moses lived thru the forty years they were in the desert. Don’t provoke Yahveh, listen to Him, study His word, obey Him, and put Him first in your life today and everyday.]

17 But with whom was He grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

[They all died. Make sure your carcass doesn’t fall in the wilderness of these end times.]

18 And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His rest, but to them that believed not?

[In other words a non believer of Yahveh’s [God’s] word, this word, this Bible, will not enter into Heaven, into Yahveh’s [God’s] presence.]

[If you don’t know Yahveh’s [God’s] word then you have no idea of what to believe in. It is as simple as that.]

19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief

[Don’t let unbelief take away your eternal life, and take away the rewards you will have in Heaven if you do it Yahveh’s [God’s] way. How would you feel if your children or wife didn’t believe in you? Think about it. Don’t hurt your Father Yahveh [God] with unbelief. Don’t listen to man, or believe anything man has to say unless it is documented in the Bible in context according to the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts from which The King James Bible was translated. Always pray for wisdom and knowledge in Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]

Hebrews 4

4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into His [Yahveh’s] rest, [Eternal life with our Father.] any of you should seem to come short of it. [Short of His rest, short of eternal life with our Father.]

2 For unto [To] us was the gospel preached, [Taught, we heard the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ.] as well as unto [To] them: but the word preached did not profit them, [They would not listen.] not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

[They didn’t have faith to believe the word.]

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, [Rest meaning to live with our Father Yahveh [God] in Heaven.] as He [Yahveh] said, As I have sworn in My wrath, [Anger] if they shall enter into My rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

[The word foundation meaning before the fall of satan. Yahveh [God] had a plan of salvation before the destruction of satan.]

4 For He spake in a certain place of the seventh day on [In] this wise, [Way] And God did rest the seventh day from all His works.

[As written in 2 Peter 3:6&7 one day with the Lord is as a thousand years with man. The Lords day is a thousand year period starting with the return of Jesus Christ. It is called the millennium age. This is the seventh dispensation of time, seven thousand years, and we are getting close to that time since man was created in the flesh.]

5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into My rest. [Abide with Me. Stay with Me spiritually.]

[If meaning He will not force you to enter into His rest, it is your choice. His rest is not one day. In Colossians Chapter 2 Paul explains how the Sabbath was nailed to the cross with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ became our rest, and we rest in Him [Abide in, stay with Him spiritually] every day, not on any particular day of the week.]

6 Seeing therefore it remaineth [Remains] that some must enter therein, [Those that believe and do the will of Yahveh, Yahveh’s [God’s] elect.] and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

[They didn’t believe Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]

7 Again, He [Yahveh] limiteth [Limits] a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye [You] will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. [Mind’s]

[Don’t turn away from you Father Yahveh.]

8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he [He would] not afterward have spoken of another day.

[The word Jesus in verse eight should have been translated Joshua. Joshua carried the Israelite’s into the Promised Land after Moses died. You can Check out Joshua in Chapter one.]

[Joshua’s rest was just a foreshadow of things to come. Joshua did not give them a permanent rest. Jesus Christ has.]

[You can enter into that rest today by putting Yahveh [God] first in your life by sincerely doing His will by learning His word and becoming a doer of His word. This is not saying we are perfect because we are not perfect in our flesh bodies, which is why Jesus Christ gave us a new commandment in the New Testament. The new commandment is to repent of your sins and ask Yahveh [God] for forgiveness in His name. By repenting and asking Yahveh [God] for forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ you are washed clean by the blood He shed on the cross for you, making you acceptable to Him.]

9 There remaineth [Remains] therefore a rest to the people of God.

[The rest that remains is to rest spiritually in Jesus Christ.]

[We rest in Jesus Christ, we abide in Him spiritually.]

10 For he [Man or woman] that is entered into His [Jesus Christ’s] rest, [Sabbath, we rest in Him every day of the week.] he [Man and woman] also hath ceased from his [Their] own works, as God did from His.

[We cease from our works of only thinking of the world and put our faith in Jesus Christ, and work for Him doing His will. This is not saying we quit working to make a living. As written in 1 Thessalonians 5:5-10 we rest in Jesus Christ continually. Let’s go there.]

1 Thessalonians 5:5-10

5 Ye [You] are all the children of light, [Children of light are Children of Jesus Christ. Children of the word of Yahveh.] and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

[Children of satan are children of the night, and darkness.]

[We won’t be overtaken by satan or his evil spirits because we know and are doers of Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; [Sleep meaning they are spiritually dead.] but let us watch and be sober. [Sincere]

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; [satan’s work takes place in the night.] and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

[They don’t know what Yahveh’s [God’s] plan is. They are in a stupor as to what is going on concerning what Yahveh’s [God’s] plan is, and what is in store for them.]

8 But let us, who are of the day, [The light, Jesus Christ] be sober, [Sincere] putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. [Eternal life]

[Paul is talking about the Gospel armor of Ephesians Chapter 6.]

9 For God hath [Has] not appointed us to wrath, [Anger] [He isn’t going to hurt us.] but to obtain salvation [Eternal life] by our Lord Jesus Christ,

[Eternal life by our Lord Jesus Christ not the anti [Instead of] Christ satan of the sixth trump. There is no eternal life through the anti [Instead of] Christ satan who appears at the sixth trump. satan appears first at the sixth trump. Our Lord Jesus Christ returns to earth five month’s later at the seventh trump. DON’T BE DECEIVED by satan.]

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake [Are alive in a flesh body.] or sleep, [Sleep meaning your flesh body died.] we should live together with Him. [In Heaven]

[Also as written in Colossians 2:16&17, quote, [“Let therefore let no man [Or woman] judge you in meat [Food] or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, [The Feast of Tabernacles and The Feast of Unleavened Bread.] or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days. Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”]

[You are either in Him or not. Jesus Christ became your sabbath when He died on the cross for you. We rest in Jesus Christ every day of the week. This doesn’t mean we have to go to church everyday. The Feast of Tabernacles was the Passover feast. Jesus became your Passover as written in 1 Corinthians 5:6&7. He is the reason the death angel [satan] must pass over you.]

[Let no man [Or woman] judge you about meat [Food] or in drink, or in respect of a holy day because Jesus Christ nailed those things to the cross, He became those things.]

[Let’s return to Hebrews 4:11.]

11 Let us labour [Work] therefore to enter into that rest, [In other words work to understand Yahveh’s word so that you can enter into His rest.] lest any man [Or woman] fall after the same example of unbelief.

[The example of those who fell in the wilderness in Chapter 3, verses 16, 17, and 18.]

12 For the word of God is quick, [It lives, its alive] and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, [It cuts both ways] piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul [Your soul is yourself] and spirit, [Your spirit is your intellect, your thinking process. Yahveh’s [God’s] word can change your intellect [Thinking] causing your soul [Self] to do the will of Yahveh.] and of the joints and marrow, [The flesh body] and is a discerne [Look into] of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

[Yahveh [God] can read your mind.]

13 Neither is there any creature [Any creation] that is not manifest [Made known] in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

[Nothing you do is hidden from Yahveh.]

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

[Our profession is our work for Yahveh, our testimony, and our confidence in Him, and speaking boldly and openly about Him when the opportunity arises. Planting seeds, and teaching His word if that is a gift Yahveh [God] has given to you.]

15 For we have not an high priest [Jesus Christ is our high priest.] which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; [Jesus Christ knows our infirmities, He feels for us.] but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

[Jesus Christ also lived in the flesh. He knows how it is to be in a flesh body.]

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, [Love and unmerited favor] that we may obtain mercy, [Compassion, love] and find grace [Love and unmerited favor] to help in time of need.

[So that He will help us in times of need. He created a rest for us. When we rest in Him [Jesus Christ] He will come into us as the Holy Spirit and give us peace of mind and blessings.]
