Luke 21
[In Chapter 21 Jesus Christ is going to tell us about what is going to happen in the last generation before He returns.]
21:1 And He [Jesus Christ] looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
[In other words they were putting their gifts into the church treasury.]
2 And He saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither [The treasury] two mites. [Two small coins.]
3 And He [Jesus] said, Of a truth I say unto [To] you, that this poor widow hath [Has] cast in more than they all:
[More then all of the rich men.]
4 For all these [Rich men] have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: [In other words they put in what they owed.] but she of her penury [Her in her need] hath [Has] cast in all the living that she had.
[She put in all she had; she gave it from her heart.]
5 And as some spake [Spoke] of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, He [Jesus] said,
[They are inside of the temple.]
6 As for these things which ye [You] behold, [See] the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
[Verse six is also written of in St. Matthew 21:2, St. Mark 13:2 and Luke 19:44. When Jesus Christ returns He is going to clean house; there is going to be a whole lot of shaking going on.]
7 And they asked Him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And He [Jesus] said, Take heed [Watch carefully] that ye [You] be not deceived: for many shall come in My name, [In other words there are going to be many so called Reverends, Pastors, and preachers claiming to be Christians who will deceive you.] saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth [Draws] near: [It is close] go ye [You] not therefore after them.
[In other words there are going to be many so called reverends, pastors, and preachers claiming to be Christians who will deceive you. Don’t listen to them; Jesus just gave you the warning.]
9 But when ye [You] shall hear of wars and commotions, [These things are happening right now.] be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
[In other words the end of this earth age is not right now.]
10 Then said He [Jesus] unto [To] them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
[This has already happened. The world is going to have it’s problems.]
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers [Different] places, and famines, [Famine for hearing the word of Yahveh [God] and lack of food.] and pestilences; [Diseases] and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
[All these things have happened and will continue.]
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, [Churches of satan] and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. [For teaching Yahveh’s [God’s] word.]
[This has happened and is happening in the world today.]
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
[This is written of in Revelation 6:9-11. Let’s go there.]

Revelation 6:9-11
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar [Of Yahveh] the souls of them that were [Had been] slain for the word of God, and for the testimony [A time of teaching] which they held: [Possessed]
[They were the souls of people who had walked on this earth.]
10 And they cried with a loud voice, [Their conscious, they can think, they have wisdom.] saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost [Do] thou [You] not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
[They can talk to Yahveh.]
11 And white robes were given unto [To] every one of them; [White robes were given to them because they overcome satan and had righteous acts. Your righteous acts are things you do because of Yahveh [God] or for Yahveh.] and it was said unto [To] them, that they should rest yet for a little season, [A short time] until their fellowservants [People like them.] also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, [They were killed because of their testimony.] should be fulfilled.
[It is written in Revelation 19:8 fine white linen is the righteousness of saints. Saints are people set aside, they are people who put Yahveh [God] first in their lives. It is the righteous acts of the saints that constitute what they will be wearing in Heaven. All people who overcome satan, and put God first in their life while they are in their flesh body will be wearing fine white linen in Heaven.]
[Let’s return to St. Luke 21:14.]
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, [Minds] not to meditate [Think about] before what ye [You] shall answer:
[You don’t think about what you are going to say because the Holy Spirit is going to speak thru you. The truth will go out, through out the world as people are tried for refusing the anti [Instead of] Christ satan.]
15 For I [Jesus Christ] will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries [Opponents] shall not be able to gainsay [Deny] nor resist.
[Yahveh [God] will speak thru His elect letting the truth spread through out the world as people are tried for refusing the anti [instead of] Christ satan.]
16 And ye [You] shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
[In other words some family members will follow the anti [Instead of] Christ satan and convince other family members he is the true Christ causing them to become spiritually dead.]
17 And ye [You] shall be hated of all men [Mankind] for My name’s sake.
[In other words you will be hated by Biblical illiterate preachers and so called Christians when you stand up against people who say they believe in Yahveh [God] and have been deceived into believing the anti [Instead of] Christ satan is the true Christ.]
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
[It is written in Revelation 9:3&4 they cannot hurt you. Let’s go there.]
Revelation 9:3-4
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts [Locusts are symbolic of Kenites and fallen angels, followers of satan.] upon the earth: and unto them [Onto the enemy of those who follow Yahveh] was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, [They are not locusts.] neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men [Or women] which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
[The seal of Yahveh [God] is knowing His word and therefore not being able to be deceived by the anti [Instead of] Christ satan.]
[Let’s return to St. Luke 21:19.]
19 In your patience possess ye [You] your souls.
[Wait for Jesus Christ. Don’t be deceived by satan. satan appears on earth first at the 6th trump; Jesus Christ appears at the 7th trump commencing the millennium age. How are you going to see and do the things mentioned in this chapter of Luke, and Ephesians chapter six if you have been raptured out of here? There is no such thing as a rapture.]
20 And when ye [You] shall see Jerusalem compassed [Surrounded] with armies, then know that the desolation [wasting] thereof [Of it] is nigh. [Near]
21 Then let them which are in Judaea [The area of Jerusalem, as well as Mt. Zion.] flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst [Middle] of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. [Into Judea]
22 For these be the days of vengeance, [Retaliation by punishment] that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
[They will be fulfilled when Jesus Christ returns.]
[The subject in the verses that follow is the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.]
23 But woe [Grief] unto [To] them that are with child, [With child meaning to have been deceived by and followed the anti [Instead of] Christ satan. They are Biblical illiterate, they don’t know Yahveh’s [God’s] word or they would have known better.] and to them that give suck, in those days! [To give suck meaning they follow and work for satan.] for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath [Anger and punishment] upon this people.
[Jesus Christ is not going to be happy with people who follow satan. The wrath will be upon those who follow satan. Yahveh [God] tells us by Isaiah in Isaiah 54:1 what the people who didn’t follow the anti [Instead of] Christ satan should do. Let’s go there.]
Isaiah 54:1
54:1 Sing, O barren, [Yahveh’s [God’s] Elect are barren.] thou [You] that didst [Did] not bear; [People not deceived by satan did not bear.] break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou [You] that didst [Did] not travail with child: [People that did not follow the anti-Christ satan did not travail with child.] for more are the children of the desolate [The desolate are the lost, satan’s followers, people deceived by satan.] than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
[We are Yahveh’s [God’s] children and spiritually speaking we will be married to Him.]
[Paul warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:2, 3, 4, 13, 14, and 15 about following satan. Let’s go there.]
2 Corinthians11:2-4 and 13-15
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: [Just like Yahveh [God] is] for I have espoused [Engaged] you to one husband, [In other words I have engaged you to be married spiritually to Jesus Christ.] that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
[A chaste virgin is a person who is not deceived by satan.]
3 But I fear, lest by any means, [By someway] as the serpent [satan] beguiled [Totally seduced] Eve through his subtilty, [Slickness] so your minds should be corrupted [Corrupted by some false teaching preacher.] from the simplicity that is in Christ.
[It wasn’t an apple Eve partook of in the Garden of Eden. Eve was totally seduced by satan. Cain was the offspring of satan and Eve’s affair in the Garden of Eden. Cain’s offspring are called Kenites. You can read about them in St. John 8:38-45; our Lord Jesus Christ identity’s them for us there.]
4 For if he [Anyone] that cometh preacheth [Preaches] another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye [You] receive another spirit, which ye [You] have not received, or another gospel, which ye [You] have not accepted, ye [You] might well bear with him.
[In other words don’t listen to them.]
13 For such are false apostles, [Apostles meaning sent ones. Yahveh [God] didn’t send them.] deceitful workers, transforming [Disguising] themselves into the apostles of Christ.
[Paul is talking about pastors, reverends, and one verse preachers who preach one verse here and there.]
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed [Disguised] into an angel of light.
[In other words satan will pretend he is Jesus Christ.]
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his [satan’s] ministers also be transformed [Disguised] as the ministers of righteousness; [Righteousness meaning doing what is right according to Yahveh.] whose end shall be according to their works
[Here again Paul is talking about so called pastors, reverends and teachers of the Yahveh’s [God’s] word who never get around to teaching Yahveh’s [God’s] word chapter by chapter, verse by verse, precept upon precept, the way it is supposed to be taught.]
[St. John tells us about them in Revelation 9:7-11. Let’s go there.]
Revelation 9:7-11
7 And the shapes [Likenesses] of the locusts were like unto horses [The word horses meaning power.] prepared unto battle; [They are prepared to deceive mankind.] and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, [They look royal.] and their faces were as the faces of men.
[They were men, satan’s best.]
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, [Peaceful, come to me, listen to the truth, are you saved, that’s about all they know and teach.] and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
[They seem like Christians but spiritually they kill like a lion. They are false teachers of Yahveh’s [God’s] word and fail to teach His word.]
9 And they [The locusts, satan’s best] had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; [Priests wear them.] and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
[satan will bring them with him. They are supernatural and there will be many of them.]
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men [And women] five months.
[They hurt men and women by lying to them and deceiving them into believing satan is our Lord Jesus Christ. The five month period he is talking about is May thru September. satan will be in power for 5 months. At the end of that 5 month period Jesus Christ will return to Earth.]
11 And they had [have] a king over them, [Their king is satan] which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, [Destroyer] but in the Greek tongue hath [Has] his name Apollyon. [satan the king of destruction.]
[Let’s return to St. Luke 21:24 and continue with the words of our Lord Jesus Christ.]
24 And they [The people deceived by satan] shall fall by the edge of the sword, [By the word of Jesus Christ.] and shall be led away captive into all nations: [They will be led by satan.] and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, [The Gentile nations] until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
[The times of the Gentiles will be fulfilled when Jesus Christ returns commencing the first day of the millennium age, the Lords day. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:8 one day with the Lord is as a thousand years. On the first day of the millennium every knee will bow to Jesus Christ.]
[Gentile nations are all other nations other then the Israelite nations.]
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, [All this has happened and continues to happen.] with perplexity; [The word perplexity meaning there will be no way out of it.] the sea and the waves roaring;
[There will be confusion, people will be confused.]
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
[They will be shaken when Michael kicks satan and his angels out of Heaven.]
27 And then [After that] shall they see the Son of man [The son of man is Jesus Christ.] coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
[Jesus Christ returns after satan is here for 5 month’s. There is no rapture. Our Lord Jesus Christ is coming here so why would you want to leave anyway?]
28 And when [After] these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth [Draws] nigh. [Near]
[Your redemption draws near because your redeemer is coming. Jesus Christ is you redeemer. He paid the price on the cross for you and will save you.]
29 And he [Jesus] spake [Spoke] to them a parable; Behold [Look at] the fig tree, [The fig tree is symbolic of Israel] and all the trees;
[The tree of life is Yahveh [God] and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is satan.]
30 When they now shoot forth, [Israel became a nation in 1948.] ye [You] see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh [Close] at hand.
[Summer is harvest time. Harvest time is the time Jesus Christ will harvest the people on earth. Harvest time became close at hand when Judah moved back into Jerusalem and formed the nation Israel in 1948.]
31 So likewise ye, [You] when ye see these things come to pass, know ye [You] that the kingdom [The King [Jesus Christ] and His dominion] of God is nigh [Close or near] at hand.
32 Verily [Truly] I say unto [To] you, This generation [The generation Israel became a nation.] shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
[In other words this generation will still be here until all of Yahveh’s [God’s] word written in this chapter is fulfilled.]
[Israel became a nation in 1948, there are three generations Jesus Christ could be talking about, a 40, a 70 or a 120 year generation. The 40 year generation has past so that leaves the 70 and 120 year generation. By adding 1948 to 120 we find that that Jesus Christ could return to earth sometime before 2068.]
[Some people say Israel became a nation after the six day war of 1967. If what they say is true Jesus Christ will return sometime before 2087. We will see what happens.]
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: [This earth age will pass away, but there will be a third earth age.] but My words shall not pass away.
[In other words Yahveh’s [God’s] word is permanent, He will not change it.]
34 And take heed [Be very careful] to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged [With a hangover] with surfeiting, [With a headache] and drunkenness, and cares of this life, [Cares of worldly things.] and so that day come upon you unawares.
[In other words don’t let that day come without you knowing it, don’t be caught asleep.]
[That day is the day Jesus returns to Earth; you had better be waiting for Him, and you had better know His word. You won’t be waiting for Him if you don’t know His word because you will have been deceived by satan the anti [Instead of] Christ. satan comes first deceiving people into believing he is the true Christ.]
35 For as a snare [A trap] shall it [Shall Yahveh [God] using satan to harvest people that fail to put Jesus Christ first in their lives by doing His will] come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
[You had better be ready, not drunken on liquor, or worldly things.]
36 Watch ye [You] therefore, [Keep your eyes open] and pray always, that ye [You] may be accounted worthy [Worthy to Yahveh] to escape all these things that shall come to pass. [To escape all the deceit of satan.] and to stand before the Son of man. [Jesus Christ]
[To stand before our Lord Jesus Christ and to be judged as righteous.]
37 And in the day time He [Jesus] was teaching in the temple; and at night He went out, and abode [Stayed] in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to Him [Jesus] in the temple, for to hear Him.
[They wanted to hear what Jesus Christ had to say.]
