Revelation 2

2:1 Unto [To] the angel of the church of Ephesus [The word Ephesus meaning permitted.] write; These things saith He [Jesus Christ] that holdeth [Hold’s] the seven stars [The seven angles, messengers] in His right hand, who walketh [Walks] in the midst [Middle] of the seven golden candlesticks;

[The seven golden candlesticks are symbolic of the seven churches. Jesus Christ walked in the midst [Middle] of these seven churches and is going to tell you about them.]

2 I know thy [Your] works, [The Lord deals with people according to their works in the day of the Lord. It is written that He knows everybody’s works in Isaiah 66:18.] and thy [Your] labour, and thy [Your] patience, and how thou [You] canst [Can] not bear them which are evil: and thou [You] hast [Have] tried [Tested] them which say they are apostles, [Apostle meaning one sent by Yahveh.] and are not, and hast [Have] found [Did find] them liars:

[In other words you can tell who they are.]

3 And hast [Have] borne, [Endured] and hast [Have] patience, [They have patience, and endurance.] and for My name’s sake hast [Have] laboured, [Worked for Me] and hast [Have] not fainted. [Fainted meaning to become weary.]

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat [some things] against thee, [You] because thou [You] hast [Have] left thy [Your] first love.

[They turned away from Yahveh [God] who was Jesus Christ, Emanuel Yahveh [God] with us in a flesh body.]

5 Remember therefore from whence thou [You] art [Are] fallen, [In other words remember how it was before you turned away from being a doer of Yahveh’s [God’s] word.] and repent, [Be sorry about turning away from Yahveh, turn back to Him, and ask Him for forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ.] and do the first works; [The first works is to put Jesus Christ first in their lives, learn His doctrine, not mans, and do His will.] or else I will come unto [To] thee [You] quickly, and will remove thy [Your] candlestick out of his place, except thou [You] repent.

[Actually they have allowed themselves to be deceived by the word of man and would follow the anti [Instead of] Christ [satan] should he appear if they don’t repent and follow Jesus Christ. If they don’t repent He will not be with them.]

6 But this thou [You] hast, [Have] that thou [You] hatest [Hate] the deeds [Works] of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

[The Nicolaitans called them selves Christians but did not follow the doctrine [Instructions] of Jesus Christ.]

7 He that hath [Has] an ear, let him hear [With understanding] what the Spirit [The Holy Spirit] saith [Is saying] unto [To] the churches; To him that overcometh [He or she that overcomes satan] will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst [Middle] of the paradise [Park] of God. [Yahveh]

[The tree of life is our Lord Jesus Christ.]

[If you put Jesus Christ first in your life by doing His will He will give you eyes to see and ears to hear His word with understanding and give you eternal life.]

[Always pray sincerely for wisdom and knowledge in His word.]

8 And unto [To] the angel of the church in Smyrna write; these things saith the first and the last, [Yahveh/Jesus Christ] which was dead, [He died on the cross for you.] and is alive;

9 I know thy [Your] works, and tribulation, [Trouble] and poverty, [but thou [You] art [Are] rich] and I know the blasphemy [The evil speaking against Yahveh] of them which say they are Jews, [They say they are of the tribe of Judah.] and are not, but are the synagogue [Church] of Satan.

[Jesus Christ identifies those of the synagogue [Church] of satan for us in St. John 8:42-44. Let’s go there.]

St. John 8:42-44

42 Jesus said unto [To] them, If God [Yahveh] were your Father, [Yahveh [God] wasn’t their father] ye [You] would love Me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; [Yahveh] neither came I of Myself, but He sent Me.

43 Why do ye [You] not understand My speech? Even because ye [You] cannot hear [With understanding] My word.

44 Ye [You] are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father [satan] ye [You] will do. He [Cain, Cain was a child of the devil.] was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

[Satan is the father of all lies.]

[Let’s return to Revelation 2:10.]

10 Fear none of those things which thou [You] shalt [Shall] suffer: [Yahveh/Jesus Christ is talking to His Elect.] behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye [You] may be tried; [You will be tried as in St. Mark 13:9.] and ye [Each of you] shall have tribulation [Trouble] ten days: be thou [You] faithful [Faithful to Me] unto death, [Don’t give in to satan.] and I will give thee [You] a crown of life.

[IF you stay faithful to Jesus Christ He will give you eternal life. He just promised it to you. Now let’s cover St. Mark 13:9-11 where Jesus Christ explains to us about being tried.]

St. Mark 13:9-11

9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues [Churches] ye [You] shall be beaten: and ye [You] shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them.

10 And the gospel [The good news about our Lord Jesus Christ] must first be published among all nations.

[The people will hear you when you testify against the rulers and kings.]

11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye [You] shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: [Don’t plan it out.] but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, [That hour is symbolic of the five month period of tribulation and temptation when the anti [Instead of] Christ satan is here on earth.] that speak ye: [That you speak] for it is not ye [You] that speak, but the Holy Ghost. [The Holy Spirit]

[The Holy Spirit will speak through you.]

[It should say the Holy Spirit because ghost is not written in the Greek or Hebrew manuscripts.]

[Let’s return to Revelation 2:11.]

11 He that hath [Has] an ear, let him hear [With understanding] what the Spirit [The Holy Spirit] saith unto [To] the churches; He that overcometh [He or she that overcomes satan.] shall not be hurt of the second death.

[The second death would be death of your soul. Your first death is the death of your flesh body. He or she who overcomes satan will not be hurt by the second death because Jesus Christ will give him or her eternal life.]

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; these things saith He [Jesus Christ] which hath [Has] the sharp sword with two edges;

[Jesus Christ’s tongue is the sharp two edged sword.]

13 I know thy [Your] works, [Yahveh/Jesus Christ] knows what everybody does for Him.] and where thou [You] dwellest, [Where your church is] even where Satan’s seat is: and thou [You] holdest [Hold] fast My name, and hast [Has] not denied My faith, even in those days wherein Antipas [Antipas meaning anti-father] was My faithful martyr, [Antipas did not accept the fake father, satan.] who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. [Dwells]

14 But I have a few things against thee, [You] because thou [You] hast [Have] there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, [Balaam’s doctrine was to teach for money.] who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. [Unlawful sex]

[The men of Israel had unlawful sex with the Moabite women. Doing so was unlawful because Yahveh [God] didn’t want His people to marry out of their tribes. [The twelve tribes of Israel.] Fornication also means that the Israelite’s bowed down to and sacrificed to other so called God’s.]

15 So hast [Have] thou [You] also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

[The Nicolaitans called themselves Christians but didn’t follow the doctrine of Yahveh/Jesus Christ; they worshiped things other then Yahveh.]

16 Repent; [Turn away from what you are doing and ask forgiveness in My name, [Jesus Christ] and put Me first in your lives, and be a doer of My doctrine.] for [Or] else I will come unto thee [You] quickly, and will fight against them [Them that hold the doctrine [Instructions] of the Nicolaitans] with the sword of My mouth.

[It doesn’t matter what the name of a church is. What matters is what they are teaching the people. If a church is not teaching the Yahveh’s [God’s] word chapter by chapter, verse by verse, including the scripture about the Kenites as written in St. John chapter eight Yahveh/Jesus Christ will be against them.]

17 He that hath [Has] an ear, let him hear [With understanding] what the Spirit [The Holy Spirit] saith [Says] unto [To] the churches; To him that overcometh [To him or her that overcomes satan.] will I give to eat of the hidden manna, [The hidden manna is the influence and comfort of Jesus Christ communing with you, and Yahveh [God’s] word.] and will give him a white stone, [A white stone shows no guilt from sin.] and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth [Knows] saving [Except] he that receiveth [Receives] it.

[The new name is Heph-zi-bah, only the Elect can receive it. The Elect are those preordained from the first earth age and those freewill elect of this earth age. They are people that truly put Yahveh [God] first in their lives by doing His will.]

18 And unto [To] the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith [Say] the Son of God, [Jesus Christ] who hath [Has] His eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass;

19 I know thy [Your] works, and charity, [Love] and service, and faith, and thy [Your] patience, and thy [Your] works; and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding [None the less] I have a few things against thee, [You] because thou [You] sufferest [Allow] that woman Jezebel, which calleth [Calls] herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

[Jesus is talking about the great harlot, Mystery Babylon the great, the mother of harlots that we will cover in Chapter 13 and Chapter 17. A harlot is a fornicator that goes whoring after some one other then her husband. In this case it is people that go whoring after the false doctrine of man. Yahveh [God] doesn’t like it one bit because symbolically you are supposed to be His wife. You are supposed to put him first in your life. Yahveh [God] calls it fornication when people turn away from Hm by following false doctrine. A harlot teaches or follows things other then the doctrine [Instructions] of Jesus Christ. Things such as the fly away doctrine. The fly away doctrine teachers people that Jesus Christ is going to remove His people from this earth before the anti [Instead of] Christ appears; before the time of the tribulation of the anti [Instead of] Christ satan; before Jesus Christ returns as Lord of Lords and King of Kings at the 2nd advent. [His return to earth]
They also bring Easter into church on the highest Christian day of the Year, during Passover, the time Jesus Christ died on the cross, shedding His blood on the cross for His children so they can be forgiven for their sins.
Easter was a pagan spring festival, a holiday for them. Easter has nothing to do with Passover. It was about fertility, the egg was for fertility. They had sexual rituals of fertility, and they also added the rabbit, quick reproduction like a bunny.]

[Yahveh [God] does not like fornicators. Stay in the doctrine [Instructions] of Jesus Christ, and stay away from the doctrine of man. Yahveh [God] did not approve of the church of Thyatira because of it’s fornication’s against Him]

[Let’s return to Revelation 2:21.]

21 And I gave her space [some time] to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

[In other words she was not willing to repent of her fornication; she just kept right on doing it.]

22 Behold, I [Yahveh/ Jesus Christ] will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery [Adultery against Yahveh [God] by whoring after false doctrine.] with her into great tribulation, [Trouble] [Yahveh [God] is going to let them and others that don’t stay in the doctrine of Jesus Christ be deceived by the anti [Instead of] Christ, satan.] except they repent of their deeds.

[Except they repent of what they are doing against Yahveh.]

23 And I will kill her children with death; [Spiritual death] and all the churches shall know that I am He which searcheth [Searches] the reins [Your inner most mind] and hearts: [To the core of your being. He knows what you are thinking.] and I will give unto [To] every one of you according to your works.

[According to the work you do for Yahveh; the keeping of His word and putting him first in your life by doing His will. His will is for you to learn and become a doer of His word.]

24 But unto [To] you I say, and unto [To] the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, [In other words people that don’t have the false doctrine of man, the fly away doctrine, the pagan Easter rituals, and any other doctrine that is contrary to the doctrine [Instructions] of Jesus Christ.] and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

[Let’s go to Ezekiel 13:17-22 and find out the truth about the fly away doctrine; let’s see what Yahveh [God] has to say about the fly away doctrine.]

Ezekiel 13:17-22

17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy [Your] face against the daughters [Men and Women] of thy [Your] people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou [You] against them,

[This includes all prophets, preachers and teaches of Israel who prophesy out of their own heart as written in Revelation 2:2.]

18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; [Yahveh] Woe to the women [All Israel, and all so called Christians] that sew pillows [Coverings] to all armholes, [Spirits] [Actually they sew and fabricate false prophesy that covers up the saving arms of Yahveh.] and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature [Height] to hunt souls! [Your soul is your being] Will ye [You] hunt the souls of My people, [They hunt the souls of Yahveh’s [God’s] people with their false doctrine.] and will ye [You] save the souls alive that come unto [To] you?

[In other words will you sew pillows over My hands and teach your own brand of salvation.]

[Keep in mind that only Yahveh [God] can save you from the death of your soul by granting you eternal life.]

19 And will ye [You] pollute Me [Weaken my saving hands] among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, [In other words will you teach false doctrine for money.] to slay the souls that should not die, [In other words you cause people who are truly trying to do My will become and remain spiritually dead.] and to save the souls alive that should not live, [In other words you work to save biblically illiterate people who don’t read or understand the My word.] by your lying to My people that hear your lies?

[In other words you cover up my outstretched hands; you cover up the truth.]

[Like I said a little earlier, only Yahveh [God] can give you eternal life.]

[Yahveh [God] is talking about preachers in the following verses.]

20 Wherefore [Because of this] thus saith [says] the Lord GOD; [Yahveh] Behold, I am against your pillows, [In other words I’m against your fancy work, your religion, the whitewash, and the false coverings you put over my saving arms.] wherewith ye [You] there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, [In other words your not going to Rapture anybody away anywhere.] and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye [You] hunt to make them fly.

[Nobody is flying out of here.]

[When Jesus Christ returns Yahveh’s [God’s] children will not have to listen to false teachers of His word.]

21 Your kerchiefs [Little coverings of truth.] also will I tear, and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye [You] shall know that I am the LORD. [Yahveh]

[The LORD will do this when He returns at the 2nd Advent, at the beginning off the Lords day.]

22 Because with lies [Lies about the rapture and other false doctrine] ye [You] have made the heart of the righteous sad, [It is sad when you see people deceived who will follow the anti [Instead of] Christ because of the deception of the rapture doctrine of man.] whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, [The wicked are satan and his followers and those that fail to revere Yahveh.] that he should not return from his wicked way, [Because of following the false doctrine of man] by promising him life:

[By promising him or her life thru their false doctrine.]

[Let’s return to Revelation 2:25.]

[We are back to where Yahveh/Jesus Christ is talking to the people of the church of Thyatira and you that are following the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ instead of the doctrine of man.]

25 But that which ye [You] have already hold fast till I come.

[In other words don’t participate in any doctrine contrary to Yahveh’s [God’s] word; keep in Yahveh’s [God’s] word..]

26 And he [He or she] that overcometh [He or she that overcomes satan and his false doctrine] and keepeth [Keeps] my works [In other words he or she that is a doer of the Doctrine [Instructions] of Jesus Christ.] unto [To] the end, [To the end of this earth age when Jesus Christ returns.] to him [Or her] will I give power over the nations:

[Power over the Gentile nations. The Gentile nations are all nations other then the twelve tribes of Israel.]

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: [Shivers meaning splinters. Yahveh [God] is not happy and they are going to have a change of heart] even as I received of My Father.

[As it is written in verses twenty six and twenty seven all people that put Jesus Christ first in their lives by doing His will are going to rule with Him during the Millennium. The millennium is the Lords day. The Lords day is a one thousand year period of time between the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and when satan will be turned loose for a short season to deceive whomsoever he will just before The Great White Throne Judgment.
People that failed to put Jesus Christ first in their lives by doing His will are going to be taught discipline during that period of time. Mans law will be gone. We will be under the Yahveh’s [God’s] law.]

28 And I will give him [Him or He] the morning star.

[In other words morning light. Jesus Christ is the light; He is called the morning star.]

[Isaiah 14:12 tells us of another morning star, its name is Lucifer, he is satan, and he is the fake morning star. Make sure you are following the real morning star by studying Yahveh’s [God’s] word chapter by chapter, verse by verse, precept upon precept.]

29 He that hath [Has] an ear, let him hear [With understanding] what the Spirit [The Holy Spirit] saith [Says] unto [To] the churches.

[Jesus Christ wants everybody that understands what He is saying to the churches to pay attention to what He is saying to the churches because it applies to them.]

[You should have noticed the word he or him is used in the foregoing verses. He or him is used because after we go into our spiritual bodies we will not be male and female. Their will be no reason for people to be born because all souls that are to be born will have been born while we were in our flesh bodies.]
